Mirachem 250 Rust & Scale Remover utilizes an advanced chemical technology that removes rust, corrosion, oxidation, heat and water scale from metal and concrete surfaces. There are other rust and scale removers on the market, but only Mirachem 250 eliminates the harmful risks, dangers and pollution associated with highly alkaline, caustic, corrosive and hazardous products.  Mirachem 250 does not contain hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, nitric or sulfuric acids.

  Unlike most rust and corrosion removers, Mirachem 250 does not attack chrome plating, brass, rubber, plastic, glass or stainless steel. Its effect on mild steel is minimal.

Directions for Use:

• If the surface to be cleaned is greasy or oily, first clean the surface with Mirachem 500
• Apply by spraying, wiping, dipping, soaking or brushing
• Reapply as need to keep the surface wet
• Allow sufficient time for the product to loosen or dissolve deposits
• Rinse with a strong water flow or pressure washer
• Reapply if needed or use fiber pad to speed removal of loosened deposits
• In a dip tank or ultrasonic, product can be used at room temperature or heated (120 to 150oF)
• Heat increases the penetration and reduces soak time necessary to remove deposits
• Reapply and let dry for use as a paint primer on metal surfaces
• NOTE: Mirachem 250 may react with zinc (galvanized), magnesium, tempered carbon steel and some aluminum alloys depending upon temperature and length of exposure. On these surfaces, limit exposure time necessary to remove the rust or corrosion and then water rinse.

Dilution Ratios:

• Can be used full strength for tough tasks
• Dilute up to 3 parts water to 1 part product, depending on severity of rust, corrosion or scale
• Meets South Coast Air Quality Management District regulations at full strength
